Pserra Racing, importers of the Tecno chassis, started off their 2012 karting campaign with three victories at the recent Formula Kart Productions Florida Winter Tour (FWT) opener. Taking place at the Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) in Jupiter, Florida, Pserra pilot Antonio Serravalle made a statement in the Rotax Micro Max class by sweeping both final victories, while DD2 Masters pilot Ryan Horses topped the blocks after Saturday's round one action.

Heading to the New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Indiana two weeks ago for the championship finale event of the Pan American Rotax Max Challenge, Antonio Serravalle had his sights set on earning another major title in 2011, that of Pan American Champion. The young Serravalle entered the prestigious event as one of the favourites in the Micro Max class, as the reigning Canadian National Champion and Eastern Canadian Karting Champion would need to hold off the advances of some stiff international competitors. After a dominating performance in the three heat races, Serravalle would miss out on the title as rainy weather dampened the final day of competition.
Eight-year-old karting phenom Antonio Serravalle has added another elusive title to his racing resume as the Pserra Racing pilot took home the ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Championships Micro Max title last weekend in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. Working with tuner and 2005 SKUSA SuperNationals SuperPro Champion Lorenzo Mandarino, the young karter scored the pole position, two heat race wins and the prefinal victory on his way to reaching the checkered flag first in the 14-lap finale. Held at the scenic Jim Russell Karting Academy, the same track where Serravalle was proclaimed the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship Micro Max Champion a few weeks prior, the rising star was the driver to beat all week long.
Multi-time karting champion Ryan Horses hasn't hit the track too often this season, but when the opportunity to race as a DD2 Master came to fruition, Horses jumped at the opportunity to jump back into the kart. This week he will travel to Mont-Tremblant, Quebec for the 2011 ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Karting Championships for the 5-day special event. The event attracts drivers from across the country, and for Ryan, brings on a new challenge and a new class of competitors.

The Pserra Racing Team again came out victorious in Eastern Canadian Karting Championship (ECKC) action this past weekend at Mosport International Karting just outside Bowmanville, Ontario. Again with weather conditions plaguing drivers on Saturday, Sunday greeted the team with clear and sunny skies. With a four member strong team among three Rotax classes, Antonio Serravalle was victorious both days in the Micro Max class while the Hovesen brothers both showed good speed in their respective classes and Spencer Todd scored a solid fourth place finish in a tight Rotax Senior field.

Back on Canadian soil, Pserra pilots Antonio Serravalle and Stefano Romano were both the class of their respective fields, with Serravalle scoring both Micro Max wins and Romano taking the Saturday victory in Rotax DD2. Both would never be outside the top-three during racing action, proving the strength of their Pserra team and the Tecno chassis.
Stouffville, Ontario - Competing against the top sportsman pilots in the US, Antonio Serravalle had an impressive weekend at the opening Eastern Round of the Pan American Challenge held last weekend at the Homestead Karting facility on Homestead, Florida. The lone Canadian in the large Micro Max class, Serravalle steered his Tecno chassis into victory lane and was the quickest kart on track all weekend.

The Pserra Racing Team recently traveled to the brand new Le Circuit Karting Mont-Tremblant in beautiful Mont-Tremblant, Quebec for the running of the 2010 ASN Canada FIA Canadian National Karting Championships. Arriving with a full team of drivers including a very special guest driver, the team put forth a great effort, and was rewarded with a podium result and an invitation to Team Canada for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in La Conca, Italy for Rotax DD2 driver Cory Luciano.
Pserra Racing continues to impress with their new chassis line in 2010. As the official importer of the Tecno Chassis for North America, they have come up to speed very quickly with the new chassis with very little testing time available during the short Canadian karting season. The team is also very happy to add a few new members for the remainder of the 2010 season.
Battling through nearly every condition Mother Nature could throw at them, the Pserra Racing Team accepted every challenge they were given, and were rewarded for their hard work with a victory at the opening rounds of the new Eastern Canadian Karting Championships held at Goodwood Kartways near Toronto. Team driver Cory Luciano fought off the largest Rotax DD2 field in North American history to earn the win in his debut race on a Tecno chassis. Lorenzo Mandarino and Spencer Todd also displayed great performances and were very pleased with their new chassis.

Pserra Racing took four drivers to the opening round of the Florida Winter Tour and came away with great results and a solid start to the 2010 season. The team was lead on-track and off-track by team driver Michael Vincec who continues to show the strength of the Pserra Racing program. Pserra Racing ran a total of five different classes all supported by the Pserra Racing Birel trackside program and using Pserra Racing Rotax power. With six top tens, two podiums, one win and all drivers running in all finals, the team showed depth and organization.

The biggest race on the North American Karting calendar will see over 400 entries take to the fast and technical temporary circuit at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. The Pserra Racing team will see action with four drivers running in four separate classes as the Birel backed team continue to build on their successful 2009 season.
Pserra Racing is proud to announce the completion of a year one goal: to secure the Senior Rotax title in the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship. Pserra Racing combined veteran karting standout Lorenzo Mandarino to secure the top spot in the six race series, which fielded some of the deepest and largest grids in North America. Mandarino, along with tuner Nathan Brown, would take three race wins on the way to securing the overall title. Fellow Birel Senior Rotax pilot Michael Vincec would also visit the podium on two occasions in 2009 regional action.
Pserra Racing will head to Italy this weekend to prepare to contest the CIK FIA World Cup in the ultra competitive KZ1 class. The Ontario-based Birel Team will join the Birel factory team for the event to take on the world's best shifter kart pilots. The event will take place at the track in Sarno-Napoli, Italy from September 3rd to 6th. The 1,700m long track is especially well suited to shifter karts and will make for some incredible racing action.
PSerra Racing continued it's impressive winning streak taking top spot on the podium with Lorenzo Mandarino in Senior Rotax completing his third straight win. Joining Mandarino on the podium was the newest team member Michael Vincec who took third spot, his second podium in just two starts with the Birel team. PSerra Racing fielded a total of five drivers in 3 classes with solid finishes adding to an impressive debut season.
Pserra Racing is on a winning streak with Lorenzo Mandarino taking top spot for a second consecutive time in the highly competitive Rotax Senior class in the most recent round of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship. With a record number of the regions' top racers, Mandarino was able to beat a field of 39 karts to take the win while Michael Vincec, making his Pserra Racing/Birel debut, finished second and set fast lap in the final.
Pserra Racing has been hard at work both on and off the track over the last few weeks as the Ontario karting season hits full stride. Since beginning the 2009 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship, the team has been building momentum, taking wins and signing new drivers. Also, the team is taking the lid off a new program to take a strong run at the Canadian Nationals slated for early August at Goodwood Kartways.
