  • Pserra Racing is on a winning streak with Lorenzo Mandarino taking top spot for a second consecutive time in the highly competitive Rotax Senior class in the most recent round of the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship. With a record number of the regions' top racers, Mandarino was able to beat a field of 39 karts to take the win while Michael Vincec, making his Pserra Racing/Birel debut, finished second and set fast lap in the final.

"I am really happy with how our guys did at the Mosport round of the BSRKC," comments Peter Serravalle, team principal of Pserra Racing. "Having two drivers on the podium in Rotax Senior is awesome and shows how strong our engine and chassis program is becoming in what is the biggest region for racing."

In Rotax Junior Austin Milwain took home third spot and sits a very nice second in the overall standings while in DD2 Cory Luciano had a great run until a mechanical issue sent him to the sidelines.

"The Birel chassis are working great for us here in Canada, just like they are in Europe, where they are leading the WSK Championship in KF1," continues Serravalle from his shop near Stouffville, Ontario. "We have designed our team, drivers and shop to get the most out of the Birel chassis."

The new facility is building out fast the as the team continues to expand the driver line up while attending a full slate of regional and local races. The state-of-the-art machine shop is near completion with a hot engine-cleaning tank, precision four axis crank balance, digital port timing meter, chassis bench and digital scales currently being installed.

"The chassis dyno is becoming our most valuable tool and we have been booked like crazy as drivers look for that extra bit of horsepower," states Serravalle. "Most of the top Juniors and Seniors have been here to work with our guys to baseline and benchmark their power plants."

The retail shop area is nearing completion and will carry all kinds of racing gear in stock including Rotax parts, Beta Tools, MyChron and Molecule racing apparel cleaning products. The entire Pserra Racing team is focused on delivering all the right products and services required to help their customers compete at the top level. This includes scheduling major trips to national events through out North America. Pserra Racing is already booking for the SuperNationals in Las Vegas in November.

"I am very excited about returning to the SuperNats with Birel and Pserra Racing," comments Vincec, the newest Pserra Team member. "We have already confirmed some Junior drivers in the IAME Junior class, Senior driver in TaG Senior and SuperPro KZ1 drivers using our arrive drive programs."

Pserra Racing is not content to just be the best here in Ontario and they are setting their sites on new markets like Quebec, where they hope to secure new dealers in the coming months. The team will attend races in the Montreal and Quebec City areas to support the Birel program.
