  • Pserra Racing continues to impress with their new chassis line in 2010. As the official importer of the Tecno Chassis for North America, they have come up to speed very quickly with the new chassis with very little testing time available during the short Canadian karting season. The team is also very happy to add a few new members for the remainder of the 2010 season.

To update the current highlights of the season, Cory Luciano drove his Tecno Mac-Bel DD2 chassis to victory at the opening round of the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship (ECKC). In the Rotax Senior class, Lorenzo Mandarino has driven his Tecno chassis to podiums as well, just nearly missing victory at the second round of the ECKC. The teams Junior pilot Spencer Todd has also shown great speed, just a few bad bounces has kept him off the podium. Continuing to add results is the teams youngest pilot, Antonio Serravalle, who currently leads the points at his home track in Goodwood in the Micro-Max class, recently traveled to SRA Karting for a Coupe de Montreal race where he put in a stellar drive to finish third after an incident in Friday practice with a Rotax Junior pilot left Antonio a little shaken and his chassis a little bent.

"So far the season has been really good," comments team owner Peter Serravalle. "These chassis are fast right out of the box, and they are only getting faster."

The Pserra Racing Team is also very happy to add seven new drivers to the Tecno driver lineup. Three of them will compete in the Rotax Senior class as Quebec pilot Christopher Ernst returns to the squad along with Paul Joakim and Allen Page. Jumping aboard a Rotax Junior chassis, Luca Beltrame joins after a successful test in Innisfil. Finally Christopher Njeim will compete in Rotax Mini-Max and Spencer Todd, Dimitra Tassos and Brent Smith will debut the new Tecno 4-Cycle chassis.

"We have setup a great network in the Quebec region, and I'm very excited to start seeing our Tecno drivers on the podium soon," continues Serravalle.

The Pserra Engine department is expanding its rental program to the entire family of Rotax Engines from Micro-Max to DD2 as well as ICC Shifter engines. Each rental engine comes complete with a carburetor along with tuning support for the race weekend.

"The engine rental program will be good for many who actually want to save money, as they will continually have a fresh motor as well as proper support for the always important carburetion," explained Serravalle. "This will eliminate the need for a backup motor on important race weekends."

Finally, Pserra Racing has developed an online store to be launched very soon. Check the website ( often for the official launch, as well as plenty of product specials.
